Service Requirements

Everything you need to know to prepare for our furniture assembly and repair services.

Before We Arrive

Unpack Your Furniture

Please unbox your furniture items before our technician arrives. This helps us start the assembly process immediately and saves you time and money. Keep all hardware and instructions accessible.

Clear the Space

Ensure the assembly area is clear and has adequate space to work. Our technicians need room to move around and lay out furniture parts. A cleared area of at least 8x8 feet is recommended.

Check All Parts

Verify that all furniture parts and hardware are present before the appointment. Missing pieces can delay the assembly process. Contact the retailer immediately if anything is missing.

What We Need From You

Access to Work Area

Provide clear access to the work area, including any necessary keys or access codes. If assembly is in a bedroom or office, ensure the path from the entrance is clear.

Power Outlets

Ensure nearby power outlets are available for our electric tools. This speeds up the assembly process and ensures professional results.

Pets and Children

For safety reasons, please keep pets and young children away from the work area during service. This protects them and allows our technicians to work efficiently.

Service Limitations

Wall Mounting

We provide wall mounting services for appropriate furniture items. However, mounting on certain wall types (like concrete or brick) may require special equipment and additional fees.

Moving Between Floors

Our standard service includes assembly in one location. Moving assembled furniture between floors or rooms incurs additional charges for safety and insurance reasons.

Custom Modifications

We assemble furniture according to manufacturer specifications. Custom modifications or alterations are not included in standard service but can be discussed separately.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need to be present?

An adult (18+) must be present during the service to provide access and approve the completed work. You don't need to supervise, but should be available for questions.

What if parts are damaged?

If we discover damaged parts during assembly, we'll document them and help you contact the retailer for replacements. We can pause the service and return when new parts arrive.

Can you dispose of packaging?

We'll organize packaging materials neatly, but disposal is not included in our standard service. We can arrange packaging removal for an additional fee if requested in advance.
